Is it true that Joan was not popular among her fellow hollywood stars?

I thought I heard that Olivia DeHavelin (sp) did not like her. I need to read some Biography's. Shelly Winters once said Bette was known to be very hard to work with. I don't remember them starring together though. I myself loved her.

I agree with both parties. I think Bette Davis hated Joan Crawford because she always thought that was was the all-time greatest movie star of their time period but I personally liked both actresses.

Whatever the case may be they were great in "Baby Jane" even though I hate that movie with a passion. You've got two of the top A-list actresses on the same set you're bound to have some kind of differences in opinion. They pulled it off though.

i thought i heard bette davis and joan crawford had a thing going on....maybe thats why bette hated her after it all ended
