Yes, the gas prices are effecting my driving habits.
1) My husband is transferring in the company that he works for to a site that's allot closer to home. (It's 160 miles a day where he's at now. After transfer 80 miles or less a day.)
2) No unnecessary trips.
3) While out run errands.
4) Drive five to ten miles under the posted speed limit. I have to allow for the extra time that it takes. The savings at the pump is well worth it.
5) We are needing a second vehicle. We will only buy one that gets good gas mileage even though with our large family we need a large vehicle.

Considering when I bought my car it took $17 to fill my tank and now it costs over $40 in a period of 2 years? Yeah, i'd say so.
I lucked out since I work from home now, but I don't do as much joyriding anymore.

Yes for sure. I don't go see my fiancee who is 7 hours away on externs as often as I would if it were not for the outrageous price increases in gas.

For me it is. I rarely take my van on the road anymore because I get better mileage with my Nissan.
