I work with this really nice guy. He asked for my # on Friday and I gave it to him. I really didn’t think he would call me but he did and he has been doing that ever since he had my #. He is a really sweet guy. We get along great. But the only thing I am worried about is he has a 1 year old son. I have never dated a guy that had a child. My parents wouldn’t like it because both of my sisters married guys with kids and they have had problems. I really really like him but I dont want any baby momma drama. So should I date him?

well just go on a date with him, just because u go on a date doesn't mean u have to marry him. he just might be someone cool to hang out with it. and just because your sisters have baby momma drama doesn't mean u will. i met my husband when his ex found out she was pregnant and she understood that we were in a relationship and we worked things out. i know what my boundaries are and not to cross them. when it comes to the well being of my step-daughter i let them take care of it and if it an issue that i need to be involved then we all sit down to talk. i have been with my husband for eight years and i love my stepdaughter and i wouldn't change a thing about how came together

first of all, how old are you? if you are generally the same age then its ok. if he's already told you he has a son, then he generally trusts you, which is good. you need to consider what it would be like devoting some of your life to another person, well two in this case. although it mite be hard, if you like him, you should give it a go. if you start dating and realise you dont have feelings for him, or cant handle his son, then there is always a door out.

Yes you should. Just because you're dating him doesn't mean you're going to marry him. Date for awhile and then if it becomes serious deal with the kid dilema. Maybe find out what's wrong with your sisters and their guys kids so you can try and fix it.

If the feelings still in like level no more. I mean you are not in love yet,...don't put your self in the same problem that your sister's had. Find new bf, the right one, the men who you are fall in love with and loves you......especially single one without any kids.

you will have baby momma drama because of the relationship you are in,but you could tell him that ya'll are dating NOT in this to be a stepmom ,that's not what your looking for....just be sure to tell him up front........but not in a way that will hurt him because he's probably not looking for that also.You probably don't need the problems...........goodluck gurlie...........follow how you feel!
