I had a very weird experience with my horoscope. I read it the other day and it said the quiet time I had been waiting for would finally arrive, and finally it was quiet and all peaceful and stuff because my cousins were bugging the crap out of me earlier that day...and then it said someone would notice me and show me eye contact and stuff, and while I was at the gym a guy was looking at me very intently..maybe staring, not sure. I don't know if horoscopes always tell the truth though.

Tell me what you think about them, please.

Newspaper horoscopes are foolishness. They just make sure they throw in things about your sign when they write them.

"On Wednesday morning, you'll wake up and eat breakfast, but make it a small one since you're always on the go, Sagittarius! There's a new adventure waiting around the corner, and your patience is wearing thin!"

Whatever. Those things are so vague, they can apply to anyone. If anything, the only reason you even noticed things like those is because you read the stupid thing and were looking out for them. I bet if I told you that on September 26th of this year, you would encounter a helpful sign as to whether or not your lawn gnome is cheating on you, the same thing would happen, because you'd be expecting it, whether it be consciously or unconsciously. And you'd be trying to link that lawn ornament to everything that was going on in your life at the time. Let it go.

What you describe is called Synchronicity. The "temporally coincident occurrences of acausal events." after Carl Jung.

Why, you may ask?

Because horoscopes are a matter of interpretation, even the personal ones, with exact date, time and position of all planets at your birth. Interpretations can be inaccurate, you can not rely on them. Astrology is not an exact sience and can not give exact answers.

Therefore it is nearly impossible that a random horoscope (pick any other magazine from the same time and compare), may ever describe events happening in your live.

It is yourself who is creating the meaningful coincident by interpreting, not the horoscope.

if you think about it, how could 12 answers predict the whole world population. Saying that horoscopes are vague is an understatement. If by chance a horoscopes comes true for you it is simply coincidence. Any horoscope could apply to anyone regardless of their sign.

I don't believe in the horoscopes they write in the magazines. They're made up. I also don't believe in the daily horoscopes. I check the planet transits when I'm going through some troubled times, but that's it.

I'll read them from time to time, but no, I don't take what they say as gospel or anything.

If what they say happens, then is a coincidence.

But then again, we always do experience quiet time from time to time. And we do get checked out, whether we notice it or not.

Have fun reading it, but don't take it too seriously.

It depends on how you interpret them. Horoscopes can be very vague so they can mean different things.
