Yah they are. Yah I said it. And Tay's an All-Star. Dirk only wishes he could be Tay.

They haven't been the best team for the last two seasons, so where are you getting the "still"?

The last time I checked the Miami Heat were the NBA Champions not the Detroit Pistons. No, sir! Champions are the best and that was Detroit in 2004. The past two years Detroit has been a great team but they have fell short of the title. Now losing Big Ben makes them step down a level. They still have 3 all-stars and a potential all-star in Tayshaun. Adding Nazr wasn't bad for replacing Wallace. He scores about the same as Wallace so interior D will be a challenge. With Flip Saunders running his Offensive schemes don't count on the Piston to make it out of the second round of the playoffs. Other than that they are still a good team. I'll say that they'll win about 50 games.

Still? They're lucky they beat the Lakers. Tay who? Don't know no Tay. Their best player just bolted for the Bulls. I don't think the Pistons even win their division this year. By the way, didn't the Heat win the championship?

Have to follow the rest of the crowd and say no. Losing Big Ben will be an impossible mistake to correct, and he was the core for the defense. And you can't swap from a defensive based team to an offensive one in a season. Also, with the bench gradually getting older I don't see them beating the Heat again in the playoffs...hence they won't make the finals anymore. Don't even think they will contend next year for the best record.

With Nazr Mohammed in Wallace's place they add kinda new dimension. But the coach Saunders needs to improve. If he does that... but anyway. hard to tell before all free agents are signed. San Antonio in palce of Mohammed got Butler, who is better for them, so they get stronger than Detroit at this point.

What are you talking about? Los Angeles Clippers are historically the best all-time NBA team.

The were a lot of trades last season and a lot so far for next season. I can't wait for November. Have to wait and see who is the best.

No, they have no depth and lost their defensive force, without wallace they are an average defensive team. Their offense will get them to the playoffs but no more title.

No, and unless they can replace Ben Wallace they are going to be worse. Defense wins championships.
