You are assuming that global warming exists, and you are assuming that it is man made.

1) Global temperatures are measured in different ways for different times. That can suggest a trend over hundreds of years, but not over the last 100 years.

Temperatures are measured almost exclusively in urban areas, which have increased over time, because of development. But that is just a small piece of the picture - most of the earth is not developed. How about measuring changes in places that aren't anywhere near any urban development? Hmmm.. that's never really been tested, because they didn't start measuring until a few years ago.

2) Global warming research is politically charged, and information that contradicts the theory is neglected. Did you know that there are glaciers that have Grown significantly over the last several years?

3) "Preventing" global warming, assuming we can, involves cost. Right now our gas prices are higher because of environmental restrictions! Oil companies have a tough time making different gas for different parts of the country, which messes with supply. What is more important to you, preventing a problem which might not exist, or giving affordable transportation and jobs for the poor? I vote for the poor.

Because there are four main problems average people deal with have like getting to work/school on time, being clean, having somewhere to live, and eating food and the way people go about these over in America uses energy. People just have gotten accustomed to doing things a certain way and changing some of these would be a problem. What if people used the bus instead of driving, yikes that would be really frusturating because buses take soo long/inconvenient and I use the bus 2 so I know.

Originally, when we created the things which cause global warming, we didn't know they were bad for us. Then, after we know we know we just don't want to change (If you look throught history, we are a very conservitive species by nature. After all, it only took a couple of thousand years for us to get irrigation down, and we didn't come up with anything better till hydroponics).

So what are you going to do about it, fellow earthling? Are you single-handedly going to stop the effects of the Industrial Revolution that drives our economy? Will you travel back in time to undo events in history that make everything you do in our modern civilization easy?

we aren't.

people like you, who have nothing better to do, rant and rave about how we are destroying the environment.

aren't 'global warming' and 'ice ages' part of the regular cycle of things?

most humans are resourceful and intelligent. if we would happen to have drastic changes in the climate in say- 30000 years, then we would develop technology to continue surviving.

stop your screaming, nobody wants to hear it.

It is not established that human activity has anything to do with global warming. It is emphatically not established that we can actually do anything about it.
