well written, engaging story for kids and adults alike. Some people over react to the whole witchcraft/wizard thing. Relax people! It is just a book; it isn't tell you to go out and become a witch, isn't telling you to go join a cult or begin to worship the devil. It is an entertaining story about a kid growing up, good verses evil, standing up for what's right, and yes there is some magic thrown in. As a Christian, I still recommend these books to everyone!

I think they are really great books, and as for people being forbidden to read them we all have to remember that there is a fine line between what is real and what is make believe so just enjoy them don't go trying to cast spells on people or nothing like that. J.K. Rowling is a very talented writer in my opinion.

I hope there is another movie....there isn't another book series that has gotten American kids off their a$$es to read!! Hope there is another book, too, though I'd be completely satisfied with the ending of Year #6...

i bet he dies in the last book

cuz J.K. Rowling isn't gonna want people continuing the story, so they best thing to do is kill him off so nobody continues it
