Wearing shoes, sandals or flip-flops in showers and locker rooms
Drying your feet thoroughly after a shower or bath
Wearing clean socks or stockings every day
Do not get in contact with wart lesions
Regularly washing the floors where you walk bare foot, carefully clean your shower / bath
The planter warts virus can only enter if the outer skin surface is damaged, take good care of your feet!

I think you need to keep that area dry and oil free.
