lots of wrestlers have died...if you mean in the ring... i am sure there are more but i think one of the most famous was Owen Hart. He died after jumping from some scaffolding (or something like that) into the ring. at first people thought it was part of the show then found out he was dead. Very sad

Owen Hart fell 50 feet, slammed his head, and dide, when a wire he was connected to became disconnected as he was being lowered to the ring.
This happened during a WWF match in Kansas City during a PPV called Over The Edge.
He was given CPR in the ring, and the announcer even stated to the audience that this was not scripted, assuming everyone knows that most of wrestling is in fact scripted.
Owen was pronouced dead that the hospital.
