Clearly they did not. Had they, they would have not put themselves out there by coming up with such a phrase...it's just wishful thinking.

No. But you know, to every rule there is a contradiction. You've also heard, I'm sure, "the only stupid question is the one left unasked." That, as far as I'm concerned, makes Answers a very very frightening place, huh? Is there no question that will ever be left unasked?
