They are basically the same thing...

Infinity: Unbounded space, time, or quantity.
Eternity: Time without beginning or end; infinite time.

Eternity does not have a beginning nor an end while infinity has a beginning but has no end. It is therefore safe to say that eternity came first

Hah. What's bigger, an infinite set of integers or an infinite set of fractions? Time started when our universe started. It's not just space, it's spacetime. Timeline? Aproximately 14.5 billion years, give or take. Before that? That's a trick with words. "Before" implies time. "Before" time is like asking which way is north if you're standing at the North Pole. No time, no "before." No nothing.

Infinity i think is longer than eternity because eternity is an endless amount of time after death....whereas infinity is an endless amount of time no matter what......

I hope you realize the irony of your question.

Infinity has to come first, because to have eternity, there has to be a concept of endlessness, or infinity.

Well Eternity is a measure of infinite time. Inifinity is a measurement of anything (length, width, time...) and eternity is just an inifinite amount of time.

Yes they did. Or did they? well, yes they did. Could you be more specific? No, no. The answer is maybe. No, it's yes. Or was it no? Flip a coin. Tails = E, head = I. There, now you have it.
