For converting a .mp3 to .wma you shall need an audio encoder software, meaning a software which shall convert the mp3 files to wma file.
WMA files are really nice! Can retain MP3 original quality at half the size.

music match plays both....but on limewire you can look to the right side to see if the file is mp3 or wma before you download it.

MusicMatch will play .mp3 files, but if you really feel the need to convert them, a number of programs can do it. I guess the most user friendly (not in my opinion, but in the opinion of the masses) would have to be iTunes, which has one click file conversion.

you can also save the file by renaming the wma to .mp3
