I enjoyed every class I took for my Master's degree. The cost was more than I could afford and I needed student loans, but the course work was great. My undergrad was a BS in Biology & Chemistry while my grad was an MA in Physics & Astronomy. I intend to apply and take even more classes when my loans are paid off.

My M.B.A. was worth it.

But, it was cheap as I got it a long time ago. I had undergraduate credits that applied to half of the needed credits. I independently studied for two courses which gave me six more free credits. Most of the companies I worked for paid for my remaining coursework. I think my mom sent me a check for a few courses. I may have made money on the deal.

I retired at 35 but then taught skiing for three years. Then I bought some rental property and started a very small business. It has most definitely paid off.

If I had it to do over again, I would have taken more coursework in real estate and investments.

For me, it was worth it. Not just for the education, but also for the people I met. If your Master's is an MBA, that's even more worth the money (although some companies will pay for your MBA if you start work first.... same for other work related Master's).
