Has anyone here ever worked in a pizza store?

i worked for 2 nights at a dominoes pizza here in australia, as a delivery driver, it was by far the crappiest job i ever had, hence only staying for 2 nights, i hated it so much that i got my mother to ring them and say i wasnt going to work there anymore lol, and my friend returned the uniform. The fact that i couldnt find the damn streets or house numbers was the worst, then there was the really freaky ppl that you just couldnt wait to get back in your car and piss off and then there was the drunk guys inviting you in for gods sake. I will shovel **** before i do that again lol.

I worked at a Mr. Gatti's during the summer in 1980, I think it was.

What did I enjoy? Hmmmmmmmmmmm...oh, closing up, locking up, then turning on the big T.V. , sitting down with the manager and coworkers, and eating the pizzas that people ordered over the phone but never picked up.

And I liked getting paid on a weekly basis.

What I didn't like. At the time I did not understand about pouring beer, and I hated dispensing the beer, bc I could not achieve 2 inches of foam and 6 inches of beer...it was always 2 inches of beer and 6 of foam..and I looked like a Lucille Ball episode as I stood pouring out foam and trying to get the beer to dispense right.

Also, we had this horrid vacuum cleaner with all these stupid electric cords. I'd be vacuuming the floor and suddenly the vac would stop. Then I had to go back through the whole cord seeing where it came unplugged.

Last, I didn't like that the boss would tell us to come and hang out at the restaurant, but not clock in. He'd say, just be here in case we need you. I was a dumb college student, so I put up with that garbage.

I worked in a small town pizza store for 3 days when I was 16. I got fired because I couldn't handle taking accurate phone orders. I hated everything about the job anyway, so I wasn't too upset about getting canned.

I worked for a pizza store when I was in High School, called Amici's. (Denver, CO).

I really enjoyed it- I had a lot of friends that worked there and I got free pizza all the time.

Yes. A LOOOOOOOONG time ago. I worked for Vito's Pizza in Towson, MD. It was a front for something, I think, but we did work hard. I had to deliver pies to Towson State University and I NEVER got a penny as a tip-freaking college students.

I managed a Pizza Hut, then was an Area Mgr then quit that motherfckr cause I hated it!

I delivered for Johnny's Pizza. It was a fun job, driving down the road, listening to music, smoking a fat hog. 420
