It is better to shut down the laptop @ night and start it after next day because when you top close the laptop it goes on standby made but the processor is working at that time and also for the working of processor and hdd it takes the battery power and it affects the battery after some days and performance of battaery gets weak so it is better to shut down the laptop every night

merely putting it in standby is easily advantageous - all the digital aspects cool off, and it makes use of so little electrical energy this isn't any subject on a ability invoice. That a working laptop or workstation desires time to "loosen up" is an previous different halves' tale. of path, you're actually not likely to harm it via shutting it down, the two, it merely takes longer to start from scratch than to renew from Standby. it is likewise good to reboot a minimum of now and returned, on account that in specific situations courses (inclusive of homestead windows itself) wait 'til you reboot to replace.

It's better to shut it down. I tried leaving it on for a week straight and it started slowing down really bad.

I used to leave mine on, but the hard drive burned out in just a few months. Now I turn it off all the time and haven't had any problems.

It is better to shut it down. There really is no reason to leave it in hibernate/standby.
