I will second ppgppg, cows spend a lot of time on their social system (kinda like people). They have friends they like to hang with, other cows they advoid at all costs so on & so on...
yes. if a cow is kept alone (bad idea unless they are sick) they can get bored and get into all kinds of mischeif as a result

Cattle actually have a social system. Some animals will stand guard while others eat. Some cows will 'babysit' all of the calves while the other cows eat, drink, sleep or procreate.

Their brains aren't big enough or high functioning enough to care about being bored. Graze, chew cud, poop, give milk. That's about it.

accordingf to elsie from bordens they are kept very busy doing commercials and canned food labels ie all in the family type thing with maw and paw and baby you know the cliche if its bordens its got to be good!!

i don't think so because if i could just stand around and eat all day and enjoy the glory of God and not have anything to worry about i would't be bored
