i don't know how much i would like and a LA, but i remember captain planet

I only saw it when I was a little kid. I only remember that he said ' The Power is Yours" and the kids had rings with powers and stuff. And they had those stupid clips at the end that would tell you how to help the earth, and in one some guy gunned down some happy family who was watching tv. That was funny. I don't think that they should make a movie, but they probably will eventually when everyone runs out of ideas.

Yes!!!!! How can anyone who was borned in the 80s forget about this cartoon that accompanied us through our younger days! Earth, Fire, Wind, Water and....erm....i don't remember.
And I totally agree to making it into an action movie like the rest!

Yeah I remeber it, just not to long ago it was running on Cartoon Network at 5 am, but i think they replaced it with something else.
But yeah it was the only show that made me really care for the earth. and Made into a live action movie, i'd buy advance tickets for it.

I loved that cartoon when I was little. That and The Toxic Avenger =)
I don't know about a live action movie. As long as it had a sense of "fun", didn't take itself too seriously, and wasn't really cheesy, it might be ok.
Who would play who, though?

Lol the movie would be horrible, and I would watch it and love it!
Maybe it could be a Sci-Fi Channel Original.. they seem to be really good at making cheesy movies.
Captain Planet he's our hero he's going to take pollution down to zero! He's our powers magnified. And he's fighting on the planet's side!

HAH!.....YEAH it totally remember it...... me and my sister would wake up at four in the morning just to watch it because that would be the only time it was on.
Yet i don´t think a movie would be such a good idea.....at least now it wouldn´t maybe when everyone gets over about how dissapointing the Superman movie was and maybe when Spiderman finishes up with the trilogy.

ya,it was a cool cartoon but the theme was same-protecting the environment and lol some crazy villains and five kids having magical rings.But,it would do good as a movie.

Sure do. In fact it is still on in reruns on cable from time to time.
It might be interesting as a movie.
