Where does the browser saves the video file when I try to watch a video from http://youtube.com?

The browser does not save the video anywhere. It just stores it temporarily then deletes it because it is being streamed. You need a program like the extension video downloader for Mozilla Firefox. and a converter to convert to Mpeg or avi.
