Im not a racist, i dont hate people based on their skin color, nationality, religion and/or sexual orientation. I dont like to have the hate feeling in my life.

But why are still people who are racist and proud of it, i wonder what it will happen if, for example, they are in an accident and in the hospital the doctor is black or hispanic, arent they going to take any help from them?

So if any racist people asnwer this question, can u let me know why do u hate? personal experience? because is a family traditicion that u are afraid to get rid off?

I have travel to USA and Canada, and of course i have heard people talking in different languajes not only English... why i should hate that?. If thats their native languaje then whom am i to tell them to shut up and speak only English?, thats just rude.

How do u feel if you go for example to Japan and someone will tell u to shut up and talk just in japanese?

I just hope that no one from you will ever have to face a racist comment or a person, cause i have face that in the past and its not pretty.

People are racist because they are ignorant. They believe that the races shouldn't mix. They claim this was God's will since he created so many different continents. They fail to realize that God created ALL THE RACES and we are ALL CREATED IN HIS IMAGE.

They also claim ALL KNOWLEDGE comes from Him. That being so then He also gave us the knowledge to build planes, trains and automobiles so that we could travel to the different areas of the world. If He really didn't want us to mix, we would have all been stranded on each of our own continents.

I love all races and I do not judge a person by the colour of their skin, their religious or political beliefs.

"Let us make man in our image, after our likeness ... so God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." Genesis 1:27

osieosie - you are the very definition of a racist

I personally have been thought of a racist because I said they should have better laws to keep illegal aliens out of the USA
and then people called me a "mexican hater" after i said that then they asked what I meant...
I said "well, the illegal aliens don't speak english, they expect full rights when they aren't even a citizen, thats just stupid"
would you think that is racist?

but I will say this
there are a few things i HATE
1.) I'm in public I hear someone talking in spanish and laughing and carrying on, and they don't know english at all...
2.)someone talking all "WAHDDUPP MAYNNE" because that isn't a word...

but that doesn't make me a racist.

For those who believe it's self-insecurity - did you really think that through before you wrote it?

Racism is brought about when you perceive an injustice is taking place - now that sounds backwards, but it isn't - I'm racist against people who do not feel they have to work for a living as I was brought up with strong work ethic - it irritates me to see someone with foodstamps, and three babies, under the age of 25, no education to speak of, Medicaid to cover all their expenses, and they can afford things that I have worked for 25 years and cannot afford because they get a lot of federal assistance or state assistance perks (I'm speaking of someone I personally know, so this is not a generic statement); while I worked for 25 years, was diagnosed with a brain tumor and metallic poisoning, one year after my husband was declared disabled following a heart attack and renal failure due to chemotherapy - we were truck drivers and paid our taxes, excessively, every year, but when we needed help, we did not qualify for one dime's worth of assistance because we had been self-employed and are in the process of buying our home - even with one son at home, we were only able to get him Medicaid coverage - but I can't feed him - there is my racisim - perceived injustice.

Regardless of what a person is racist over - it is still a perceived injustice that leads to racism, and is usually instilled from upbringing and the immediate culture one lives in.

Firstly, I am not a racist. On the other hand, I prefer to be with people with my language, blood and religion (those are the three components to make a clean nation) instead of being with
foreigners. If you add to that historical conflicts (Hebrew-Arabs// Greek-Turks etc), plus the xenophobia specially in non multicultural countries, you can excuse some racism.

This country was built on racism. Think about it, the Indians who were here first were thought of as "savages", their land was taken, and they were relegated to reservations. Same with African slaves, thought of as "savages". kidnapped and sold from their homeland and made into slaves. No matter how hard people try to deny it, racism is inbred in this society. I'm personally not a racist, but I have to deal with it all the time. It's really sad that here we are in 2006 and racism still exists. I know that this really isn't your question, I just wanted to add my 2 cents.

I am Black (African American) and yes I think true racism is ignorant and stupid but there is something to be said about the fact people are different. I am not sure it was intended for us to mix i hear pros and cons and its a tough one to know for sure. But that doesn't mean we should hate one another.

As far as speaking in other language its one thing to visit and not know the other language but if you are going to live in Japan you should learn there language.
