what metal type of rim should i get so that i wont have to change them when the winter comes?

your rims should be fine as long as you keep the salt from the road off of them. Aluminum has the lowest chance of corrosing. Dont use steel!! unless you can get them dirt cheap because iron will rust very easily. I would suggest getting Aluminum alloy because they wont rust if you keep the surface clean.

Anytype of rim is ok. They are all rated for winter weather. It is the tires that may need to be changed. If you don't want to worry about changing tires at all you can put allseason tires on.
