i hope it will be jimmy howard. i hope he outplays ozzie and wins more than ozzie. they never should have let legace go. ozzie shoulda went instead.

Legace couldn't handle the pressure of being a #1 in the playoffs and was extremely inconsistent last season.
Osgood is a proven winner, he took the Wings to a stanley cup in 97-98.
He'll be backed up by a young kid from their minor league team.
Before the half way point expect a trade, if he's not cutting it, that will either bring Aebischer or Biron to the Wings.

I hope you are right! But I think the Wings will trade for Martin Biron of Buffalo. Buffalo has ten players going to arbitration and they will be shelling out plenty of money and will look to recoup some of that and will need offensive help. If they resign Ryan Miller Biron will be expendable.

i love Osgood as a goalie but the wings are looking for a number one goalie and i see him being the back up...
