Okay this is really really gross. I ordered a banana split and in the very last mouthful of ice cream I noticed something in my mouth. It turned out to be.......oh GOD....... a fingernail cutting from a man's thumb!!!!!!!!!!!
After I picked myself off the floor and almost vomitted I went to the cashier and showed her the item. She said you ate the whole thing and found it in the last mouthful? I wanted to punch her lights out and told her I wanted my money back and an apology from the manager. She said she was the manager and apologized but would not refund my money because I could not prove I did not put the fingernail cutoff in the ice cream myself.
So I called the Health agency and I actually sent in the fingernail cutoff. Wait wait it gets better. They contacted the restaurant and inspected it and found numerous health and safety violations. Needless to say they went out of business. I do not suspect I closed them down but they had had numerous complaints as I did suspect upon calling the health agency.
I can't cut my fingernails without thinking about that.

Before I gave up fast food and became a vegetarian, I ordered a salad with grilled chicken at McDonalds [because, say what you will about the unhealthiness of their food, their salads were *good*]. All seemed well when I went through the drive-through. It wasn't until I got home and opened up the little plastic salad container that I saw that the two pieces of chicken on my salad were ENTIRELY RAW.
This played a big part in my giving up fast food. I haven't had it since. If you're at all interested in stuff like this, you should really read Fast Food Nation.

My worst experience was when I went to a Burger King and placed my order through the drive-thru speaker. When I pulled up to the window to pay, I saw the young guy making my sandwich. I also so that he was talking on this cordless phone, wearing the same gloves that he was making my sandwich with. The phone, by the look of it, had changed hands many times because it was soiled with dirt.
All I know is after seeing him make my sandwiches, and I got back to my office, when I tried to eat one...I started to gag. It never even made it to my mouth. I got sick, I tossed them away, and walked to one of the outlets we had on property at the time and got lunch from there.
I have not eaten at a Burger King since.

One time my husband and I were eating at KFC. An elderly couple was there, and the woman had a seizure of some kind while she was eating. They called an ambulance. While they were waiting for help, she just was lying there with green beans hanging out of her mouth. It was so sad, and the restaurant personnel were so ill-trained to deal with the situation. It was also kind of sickening, and I can't even go past there without reliving it in my mind. I can go to their drive-thru, but I don't think I can ever eat inside there again.

One time I ordered Chicken Parmesean, I they forgot to peel the paper off the back off the cheese before putting it on the Chicken. I ate half the pape before I realized it.
Another time I ordered a sandwich. When I opened the box, the only thing in it was the bun!

oooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... makes me sick just to remember it! I found a fake fingernail in my milk shake. the milk shake was so thick I was eating it with a spoon when I crunched down on something and I thought it was a piece of ice but then I spat out the fake fingernail!! ugh!!! I went back and complained and I saw one of the fast food workers was missing a fingernail! they all laughed about it, thought it was a big joke and didn't even give a refund.

Working there. I worked @ Popeye's for 4 months & got fired on my deceased grandma's b-day for reporting the manager for sexual harrassment. He used 2 try 2 get with all the girls that worked there, & when u didn't feed into what he wanted, he docked ur pay & worked u extra hard.

It want really fast food. It was a pizza place. To me its fast food. The waitress stood at the cash register and sneezed in her hand and then picked up her order pad, she rang up the people that came in to pick up their carry out order, and then started folding pizza boxes. She never left my line of sight so I know she never even attempted to wash her hands. I mentioned it to her and she completely denied sneezing in her hand!! Needless to say, my family and I left.

saw roaches crawling all over the floor ..this was at checkers.. I also saw the lady full a glass with ice and threw it away after seeing sumtin in there..then filled it up again and gave my friend a smoothie..i changed my mind about buyin anything!

They messed up my order and gave it to me cold. I never went back to that fast food place again.
