I mean if they are not really trying to "EXTERMINATE" the Jewish people (as others have failed to do) Then why are they not hitting military targets, mostly only innocents?????

Hezbollah knew exactly what would happen when they kidnapped the two soldiers...they knew "exactly" what would happen...To take credit for a few helicopters down doesn't make it so...They watch CNN, and they know of all the tanks and weaponry lined up along the border, yet they insist on civilian targets anyway. Israel ain't foolil' around this time and the citizens of Lebanon know to get out of the way, those that don't are the enemy, whatever the makeup. suicide bombers are all ages and to be so naive as to believe CNN saying that a "family" was killed has to be seen fof what it was...a terrorist family...plain and simple.

They think, that if they target the civilians, the Israelis will bend to the will of Hezbollah. In Israel, they have elected leaders, and if they cause enough anguish, like kidnappings, or hijackings, Israel will leave, or give up prisoners.
Although, by targeting civilians this time, I think their purpose, is to attract attention to their name, to show they aren't afraid of Israel....or the saddam ploy, to force them to attack Syria, and engulf the middle east in another war.
Hezbollah hasn't been known to be very intellegent...it seems all they know, is how to hurt people....both with missiles....and recruiting kids, who die, for no reason.....smart....but i'd feel terrible, if my son was killed....I'd go find the recruiter for Hezbollah, and take a baseball bat to him.

Hezbollah has fired over a thousand rockets at Israel and thus far has killed less than 1000 people. This points to the technological simplicity of HEzbollah. Yes they have thousands of rockets but they are not sophisticated enough to target civilian populations or military positions on demand.

To Quote SAM KINISON:
" they fire the rocket out their backyards...then they go and turn on CNN to find out where it landed"

Hezbollah is merely using terror tactics against Israel. If they had the technology Iran had, they would more than likely be delivering devastating strategic strikes every single day. ISrael would be almost powerless to stop a sophisticated Rocket attack.

Also keep in mind that Hezbollah has very little time to set up a rocket and fire it before Israeli air raids destroy them. Israel also has anti rocket weapons that they can use to shoot down rockets before they get in detonation range of their intended targets - such as the patriot missile batteries.

It is a horrible thing... but if you look at it Israel is not doing anything different. They have bombed the whole country killing rougly 400 civilians and crippling the civilian infrastructure.... by that measure... Hezbollah is a puny player... it is like a kid fighting a giant, hitting at where ever it can reach... It is more ironical to see the most powerful military in the middle east not daring to run over an ill armed militant group and bombing the civilians instead.

you are absolutely wrong!!!
they shot down 3 helicopters and just today they destroyed 5 tanks and killed 5 soldiers and wounded 25!! they are showing them HELL on earth. Israel is NOW considering negotiations with Hezbollah and has admitted that they are the most dangerous group they ever fought against. the Israeli government thought it was gonna be a quick mission just go in there kill some Arabs and go back but they found out that they are actually losing a lot!!!

and wtf are you crying about????!!!!!!!!!!! do you realize that the causalities on the Israeli civilian side is not comparable with the Lebanese civilians side??? the Israelis killed over 380 civilian in Lebanon and displaced almost a million!!! and you are crying about the less than 10 Israeli civilians that died? you dont make sense!! killing civilians is wrong but damn it still the Israelis are way off.

Rochelle, the problem is Hezbollah don´t know where the Israeli forces are, we have a big difference between the Israel and Lebanon, Israel attacked first, and for this reason they know were are the military targets

another ignorant fool who worships fox news.... hezbollah has only killed about 35 people, yes civilians are included, but go read about the around 380 lebanese killed, and they're mostly civilians, but the american media doesnt report that, stop believing every word fox news and CNN says! and now i got a question for you... whose the terrorist again? "israel" or the arabs? they occupy palestine for 58 years, they massacre us, they steal our land, now they are trying to occupy the lebanon/"israeli" border. in the Torah, God says, the Jewish people are to live in exile. heres something to leave you people with http://fromisraeltolebanon.info/
Hezbollah and Hamas are not terrorists, they are protectors of there land and there beliefs, get it straight!

Hezbollah = Terrorists

They are doing both. The present action started with attacks on israeli soldiers but they don't have an airforce or long range missiles like the israelis so they have to be content with hitting targets just over the border.

actually, when you think about it, there aren't any israeli civilians... except those under 18.
everyone, men and women, when they turn 18, has to spend several years in the military. after that, they can be called up (like the reserves)

also, hezbollah doesn't care who they kill. they're terrorists.
