The barriers are
1. The woman over 50
2. The woman has an IUD installed
3. Her partner uses un-aged condoms with spermicidal lubricant and no breakage occurred during intercourse.

It seems like this should be essentially impossible. I'm asking in this section since more experts on fertility should be here than in general health.

Next to impossible

The woman's AGE would be the greatest barrier, as you call it.
IUDs have never been 100% effective.
Condoms have also never been 100% effective.

It does seem that pregnancy should be essentially impossible, BUT ---- there is ALWAYS the exception to ALL the rules, and then there is always Murphy's Law. . .

It is not impossible. First off I know women over 50 who are still fertile. "If she can still bleed, she can still breed". Some women do not reach menopause until mid-50s or older.
Second, IUD is effective but not 100%.
Third-condom also, even with spermicide is only 98% effective when used correctly.
So though the chance is extremely rare, it is possible.

I would get a Paternity test if you are in a situation where these protections were used and she is pregnant. Unless you love her and want to raise the child. There would be nothing wrong with that. :)

well i would have to say that as long as the act has taken place, no birth control is foolproof, obviously the chances are not good, but that chance is always still there, even if very small.

even people who have been surgically sterilized still find themselves pregnant on occasion

The odds are so slim, you have a better chance of being struck by lightening twice in the same day.

I would say it is very unlikely, but nature has a way of performing miracles with the "impossible".

If there is sex it is always possible to get pregnant. However these barriers make it very hard for it to happen.

Technically, yes, it is still *possible.* Those sperm are feisty little devils! But realistically, it is *highly* unlikely that one would get pregnant with those barriers in place.
