"January 23, 2006—Anime Network, the nation’s first cable channel dedicated to anime, today announced that it is offering new anime movies and series as part of Comcast’s ON DEMAND video-on-demand (VOD) service. These programs, available for $3.99 each, include selected titles that will be available on VOD concurrent with their home video release.

The new programming, totaling six hours each month, is in addition to four hours of monthly Anime Network shows that will continue to be available at no additional charge as part of Comcast’s ON DEMAND service. Programs will be updated regularly so fans can always enjoy new selections from their favorite genre."

"Go to your On Demand menu section, usually located on Channel 001 on your set top box. Then select “FREE”. This will take to you to the Cutting Edge Category (as if Anime would be considered anything else). There you will find Anime Network and a selection of the latest hits out there. If this leaves you wanting more, then go back to the main menu and select your “Events and Specials” section."
