No, this is not even the worst war in the Middle East in my lifetime.

Juan the third world war started on 9/11 or possibly before. The extremist of Islam are bent on turning this planet into a culture that mirrors their image of Islam and its very scary. They have no illusions about taking generations to do it.
There are some who don't want to believe this; and if they succeed at gaining political control like they have in France and other nations they will just allow al queda to grow. These same types would allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons, North Korea to develop long range missiles, and all becuase that furthers their cause.
Iraels conflict with Hezzbolah is another front on this war. Hezzbolah is an extremist and violent organization that would be allied with al queda given the chance. Most people only look at a world war in reference to what occured in the 1940's and before. That kind of war is not likely out of the Hezzbolah \ Israeli conflict because Syria is not going to get militarily involved and Iran can't thanks to 150,000 Americans in their way.

I don't think so. And while on the subject of a WW111, why do people feel another world war is unaviodable? To think that there NEEDS to be, or there's no stopping a third world war is a ridulous, lazy and poor attitude! The power is in our hands! It doesn't have to be that way! I hope you can understand where I'm coming from... and I hope that there is never any more wars on a world wide scale like the old days...

Yes I do... Once the US gets involved I believe it will quickly escalate into a full scale world war, and possibly a nuclear holocaust...

All I can say is that Islamofascism needs to be destroyed. If it means WWIII, so be it. No appeasement, no white flags, and we need to be determined. WWII and Nazism was not defeated by appeasement, and what has happened in Israel over the last 2 years shows that appeasement won't work with terror organizations.

Yes - it started in 1949 and has been going on ever since, sometimes hot, sometimes cool, but always going on. I suspect it will never end unless Israel moves, or all the Arabs who would wage war with Israel die off.

lets hope so for America's economy. War is big dollars for us and will hold a resession for as long as it goes for.

not any time soon!! when the arabs unite then may be but until then nothing is gonna happen!
the biggest leaders of the mideast are the saudi and the egyptian governments and they are both american agents.
