Please don't say truth. Saying I was too lazy and really didn't have to work is not going to impress anyone so I need a substitute answer.

That's ridiculous. I need a valid answer and it doesn't bother me to lie about it. This is no moral dilemma. This is about employability. . No one's background is perfect and stellar.

I know what you mean . Its none of their damn business!! .....but you could always tell them you was self employed part time
or you was enrolled in some school taking some course or you could say you was volunteering for something.

Easy if you were going to school that can be one option the other is that you were expanding your horizons for new idea on what career or job really intrest you. And when you go to appy or make your cover sheet. always make it seem as if thats the only job you were intrested in.

Tell them you are taking care of you ill father or mother. But, if you are applying for a well paid responsability job, they are going to know truth, anyway...
