I hate to say this but it smells like cat pee.

Yes, but also keep in mind it could also be diabetes. That is one of the signs, but you can check if it is diabetes, by getting keytone strips, and that shows if you have sugar in the urine. the strip should be negative... but if you start getting thirsty, hungry, you might have to worry about d'abetes

It may or may not. Sometimes it gets a really strong awful smell to it, and my dr. said its caused by sugar spilling into the bladder and was normal during pregnancy.
