I see the same questions and the same silly answers so much is it just kids or do they really not read anything anyway and just react.
Its as if their so scared and blind they cant really see any point of view at all,and so many post great responses here you would think some of it would sink in just a little bit by now its 2006 not 1956.

But wouldn't you know it? It's us who have been deluding ourselves all along! We chose to be queer and just by falling onto our knees and looking up toward the Light of God we could have our kinks straightened out. Just like the tormented St Paul (or rather Saul) did, on his way to Damascus...

You gotta love'em though - whilst I'm sure a large number of them are disingenuous trolls, there are a few bleeding hearts who genuinely want to help us (Bless!) - whether we want it or not.

It is a pretty mixed bag. I find most of them are young people who have a pretty shallow understanding of even their own point of view. Others don't read enough to know that their question has been asked twice or three times a day for the past forever. I feel as though a person who truly wanted to learn anything about us could read some of the more serious and thoughtful answers and get a pretty good idea.
I for one, and there are others like me, rather than rejecting God, reject their concept of a God who hates any of us. I welcome everyone to join in following the commandment that we love God and love our neighbor as ourselves. And I admit that I'm far from perfect, and sometimes have a hard time showing my love towards those who attempt to subvert my faith and steal my God. But those who have a legitimate interest in understanding the differences between us, have a chance to come around one day.

The holy right that preaches here isn't going to be swayed by much of anything. We are just one of many targets for their stifled little minds to "save". The hateful ones I suspect are either some form of queer they can't deal with or are just hateful ppl.

As someone responded to my rant yesterday, there are ppl who don't really know much, including how to ask questions without unintentionally being offensive. There are also ppl who read but don't ring in that may be learning something. I like to think that, anyway.

To claim ignorance is a cop-out. I understand a great deal about gays and I still don't want anything to do with them. I have observed, read about, and engaged gay people all my life, and guess what? I STILL don't agree with them, never will.

You also cannot bury your head in the sand and pretend that if you ignore, shout down, name-call people who don't agree with you, that they will ever go away. It just makes you look like you don't want to talk about issues because you don't have any good answers.

By percentage, the AIDS rate among gays makes you all look like ticking time bombs, no matter how you try to spruce up your image. Gabriel Rotello, (a gay author) pretty much exposed gay men as the ticking time bombs we all know you are. The public can put 2 & 2 together and come up with reasonable "non ignorant" conclusions.

The problem with ignorance is that it's persistent. You would've hoped and thought we'd be enlighted a few thousand years ago, but nope. The homophobes are just out to shake things up, the way a 5-year-old shakes up an ant-farm. Keep your chin up, man.

A majority of them are those chronic loser types living in their parent's basement years after graduation, they spend twenty hours on the Internet and truly have nothing better to do other than to stuck on their ice pipe. What is truly freakish is how quick they cite God & Jesus and yet many of them haven't seen the inside of a Church in years. What is worse they have only a limited grasp of religious understanding.

keep dreaming. there are just some people who prefer to live with their eyes and their minds closed. no matter what they see to prove them wrong or show something different from what they believe they will never change because they would rather be self righteous than wrong.
