it's called the exploring and discovering ones self. it's normal for all kids to do this and just like other phases it will pass. it's nothing to worry about, trust me.

Ignore it for now, and most likely she will become disinterested for a while. She may start doing it later on as well, or continue to do so. About the time that she's speaking in phrases or full sentences (3 or 4 is a good age), have a small talk with her at the time that you catch her doing it. Let her know calmly that things like that are reserved for private times. Bedroom, bathroom... places where people aren't around. Telling her that it's bad or anything is likely to make her feel guilty, and may unnecessarily restrict her sexually when she's older. But really, at this age there's not much to do about it. Giving her a reaction is more likely to enforce the behavior. If it really bothers you, try to distract her with an activity that she normally uses both hands for.

When you see her do that, don't make a big deal, try redirecting her. The second you see her hand going into her diaper ask her to something or hold a toy or whatever. Continue redirecting her and perhaps the habit will go away. She's probably walking around not even realizing that she left her hand in her diaper.
Or maybe the diaper is uncomfortable for her. Might want to look for signs of diaper rash.

You don't she is going through a natural phase ignore it. I would talk to her about privet parts and how people are not supposed to touch them to make sure no one is touching her there. You never know these days. Just explain to her when she sticks her hand in her diaper that is a privet part and we only touch it in the bathroom. Also have you made sure she is not having a problem like a yeast infection?

You have got to be kidding!! 13 months old is a baby! Why would you even think to questiion or worry about this. The more fuss you make, the more attention she is getting and you'll just prolong the phase.

It's actually normal. It's a way of discovering things for toddlers If you pay attention to it, or have an unusual reaction to her doing this, she will do it just for the sake of getting attention. It's a phase toddlers go through. She'll stop doing it on her own.

Do not give her any attention for this, which includes telling her to stop or remove her hand. It will be hard on your part, but ignoring her is best and should eliminate the undesired behavior

Yes, it is part of her natural psychological development. It shouldn't last a long period of time. If it becomes a fixation, then there could be a problem. If I were you I wouldn't bring too much attention to it, as it could only make it worse.

Don't trip on it. Just ignore it. All she knows is that there is a positive pleasure response.
If you make a big deal out of it, then she'll make a big deal out it. And become a stripper and a porn star later on. Just let it go.

This is a way to discover her body, just like when babies play with their toes. Don't worry about it. If you make too big a deal about it it may cause issues later.
