ok the problem is my boyfriend works m-f from 8-5pm so he is away from me and our four kids for hours at a time when he gets off he dont come on home he will get here around 7 or 8 well the kids are now wondering why is he gone so much and i really dont know what to tell them.. anyway its gotten so bad that im giving him the silent treatment and he wonders whats wrong he knows whats wrong because i talk to him all the time about this problem he will do ok for a week then its back to whatever it is he is doing its gotten to a point where when he is gone im lonely and most of the time when he is here im lonely too damn what am i to do yall he barely helps around the house i love him and i really want to work on things but i cant do it alone..we have been together 7 years and we are both 28 years old so if anyone can help me please do so i really need someones help

you can talk til your blue in the face, but it doesnt sound like hes hearing your cries. not only is he hurting you, but also your children. sometimes it's better to struggle on your own than be miserable in a relationship. think about your children. they shouldnt have wonder if or when they will see their daddy. be strong for them. they are all that matters. he sounds extremely insensitive and unconcerned about his family. perhaps you should stopped questioning him, muster up some courage, take your children and live a happy life without this man. you'll be beter off.

comunicate or its ovr tell him if he wants to go out for a beer after work he should at least come home and say hi to the kids first, are you sure he dont have a second job ? maybe he's trying so hard to provide for the family he just wants to do it that way, or maybe he just is too young still to deal with kids and a wife after workin all day, so he comes home late so he dont have to and then crashes..... you gotta love him he's trying hard to support you guys :-)

my husband is gone from 5:30am-8:30pm everyday except saturday & sunday so i can kind of relate on the talking subject just take him aside and tell him how you feel give him his options and keep telling him untill he get's it ..

you have to put it all out on the table, get everything out in the open. if he still dosent change you might have to make some serious choices about your marriage.
