Sweety here is the the thing DO NOT avoid going to the county hospital.. your life is more valuable the asking doctor wanna be's on here.. because there are no sure answers on here only speculation... Speculation is NOT going to save your live... Swelling is a sure indicator that there is a problem... People who have diabetes have swelling.. people with heart condition has swelling... and it can get to the point that you get what is called weeping edema... where liquid will start oozing from your legs from swelling... it could be that your heart is not pumping properly... also heavy alcohol drinkers have the same problem.... there are soooo many possibilities that the only safe and reliable thing to do is love your self enough to go to the county hospital... if U don't take the time to do that now.... U may not have any time in life to do it!

humidity typically makes the body retain some water, so if you are having a heat wave and it is humid, your body is probably swelling up a bit. i notice this when i go from the dry climate i live in now to a humid place, like hawaii or central america. clothes dont fit right, everything is tighter....and its due to the humidity. that and youre drinking alot more fluid to stay hydrated, and that may cause some swelling too, especially if its humid outside too.

i think if you notice the humidity go down, your swelling will go down too. in the meantime, lemons are a great diuretic. so if you like water with lemon, that will help you get rid of excess water. also, b vitamins sometimes help stimulate water release, so taking a B vitamin supplement couldnt hurt.

Have you been eating a lot of salt? It could be a combination of that and the heat wave. I know when it's hot outside and go for walks my hands, feet and ankles feel swolen. Just keep on drinking the water, and avoid salty stuff.

Sounds like your kidneys aren't working to good. Try drinking iced tea. Tea will run you to the bathroom. If that doesn't work get to the hospital. This is no joking matter. The fluids might gather around your heart. Lay off of salt completely.
