Why does all punk music nowadays sound the same?

it is my belief that punk has always sounded pretty much the same except for a few outstanding bands which were good enough to make it past the local scene (ex: Ramones, SexPistols, BlackFlag) but most current punk rock is mostly inspired by a fusion of those bands as well as bands such as the Casualties, which makes it all sound similar. plus, when the lyrics are all screamed in that scratchy way, all the vocalists sound similar

Ummmm...it doesn't! You must not be listening to punk.
Are you referring to the pre-packaged, radio-ready, no-talent, whiny, annoying emo/pop that the corporate, mainstream music industry tries to market to 13-year-old kids as "punk"? If so, then I'd have to agree: I all sounds bad and it all sounds the same. Punk music, however, is pretty diverse in it's sound.

because unfortunately all punk rock is dead. the orignaters of punk and the people who made that generation basically managed to make it so that they were the first, last, and only, people to put out real punk rock music! dont even ask me how but i feel its true.
the people who claim to be "punk" now-adays are people who can just scream and cry a lot!

"Punk music"??? Ah-you mean, "alternative rock" music!!!!

In a nutshell, major record label A & R people quickly snap up TALENT-LESS kid bands who "clash" rather than "jam" (because they picked up a guitar like....6 months ago or so), and next thing you know it: they're "superstars".

They find bands with no talent, push them into recording studios run by lab monkeys, and they all get cracked out or zoned on meth......and we all have to suffer.

cause the same promoters and music executives buy the same junk and try to sell it, and stupid kids listen to it and thats all they know, and its such an easy formula they do it too.
