I think id have written it in a very similar way, I liked the Chavo turn (although a bit obvious). I like how it gets Rey out of the title picture, which he never really belonged to, and gets him into what will be an excellent feud with Chavo. Mysterio has been buried often enough in recent months so to allow Booker to win clean would have further tarnished Mysterio's title run.

rey mysterio was a transition champion. His whole champ reign was a feel-good sentiment and a nice gesture for Eddy Guerrero's passing. Now that all of that has passed, the story line must continue. Chavo and Rey were bound to have a clash, and it's about time the family feud was resurrected. However the Booker v Batista bout is very weak, and frankly Batista is quite annoying and cliche. King Booker is stupid as well, but at least he's funny. I'm all about Mr. Kennedy, cuz he's just a hoot.

Rey's title was a farce, given to him in a moment of sadness over Eddy's passing. This is not disputed, it is well known fact. Rey did not deserve the title or deserve to have it as long as he has.
On the other hand, the whole King Booker thing is already lame. Book needs to go back to the days of Harlem Heat, where he just stfu and kicked @ss.

No, it should have been a straight win or loss as it were a win. But they didn't want to make Rey Rey come off bad plus it set up the fued between Chavo and Rey.
