I dont know about out there but here the cops say as long as you arent breakin any laws like not goin to school or things like that, then they technically cant make you come home cuz my cousin did it when he was 16. If its different out there, then try to hold out until youre 18. If you have made it this long, whats another year gonna be?

I do not believe that 17 is legal age in Oklahoma. It is probably 18. Regardless of age, moving out of your parents home to live with someone you are not yet married to might be legal but it would, surely, be stupid. Independence from parents and adulthood has nothing to do with who you are talking to or not talking to. It involves supporting yourself in your own residence- not depending on someone else for shelter, food or clothing.
I strongly suggest that you get your own apartment and stay there alone, until after your wedding day if you just cannot stay with your parents anymore. If you live with your fiancee before the wedding, the wedding may NEVER take place. In addition, you will possibly, create problems for yourself that you are currently, unprepared to handle alone. Best wishes.

No you can not move out of your parents house till the age of 18. But I would sugest you think before you leap. If you are only 17 you have a hole life time in front of you. To make a big mastake like this could make a very bad life for you. You move and then find out it was the wrong thing to do , it is to late. My child did this. Left at 18. She got married and the boy beat the _ _ _ _ out of her all the time. Got so bad she tryed to kill her self. The boy didn't care he just set and watched. She is still alive because a friend called me and her brother to come after her. We took her to the EMR. She would have died. Think , think long and hard.

you have to get emancipated by a court judge. Your parents could say that your boyfriend kidnapped you even though you wanted to go your still technically a minor and haven't legally been emancipated and dont have the legal position to make the desicion whether you can move out. so your boyfriend and even you could get in plenty of trouble. Also chances of a landlord approving you to pay the rent on time and all the bills and not cause problems is unlikely, you probably wont even find a place to live.

It is better to wait until you are 18 when you can sign all legal papers on your own and do not have to have a parents permission on many things.

Legal age to be out of your parent's care w/out emancipation is 18. Your best bet is to either tough it out, get them to give you permission, or try to get emancipated. Since you are already so close to 18, it might be better if you just tough it out, stay with your fiance when you can and limit your time at home.

get emancipated. but, first of all you need to work out your issues with your family. running away from problems isnt always the answer. your family should be mor eimportant to you than a man, especially at such a young age. nothing is more special than family.
