There is a new movement towards men wearing makeup - and it's not just gay men. Several well-known women's lines are starting to offer cosmetics just for males. They call concealer "camouflage" and put the stuff in masculine packaging. So what do you think about it?

I think that it is ok- why should women be the only ones with good-looking skin? Guys should have the opportunity to cover a zit with a little "camouflage" if they want to.

Guys Wearing Makeup

I think makeup's for anyone. I don't see a problem with men wearing makeup, nowadays it'snot just concealer, it's everything a girl would wear. All the above comments are saying that it's okay for them to use concealer, but why stop there? I don't see why people have a problem with men wearing makeup. I think everyone should be able to wear what they want wheter it's on their face or their body without being judged.

Since I was little I've suffered from extreme paranoia disorder (EPD) which meant when people looked at me, I got very anxious and assumed they were thinking negative things. So when I grew to a teenager and my skin began to break out (as everyone's does at that age) I felt the need to cover it up to blend in and look nice. I use what I need to improve my appearance but other than that I stay away from it. In my opinion, as long as you don't start drag-queening it, it should be alright. Even eyeliner I think is going too far personally.

I think men should wear makeup, if they want to hide their freckles or anything similar to that like zits, but I think wearing eyeliner is going too far

There is no surprise here. Women's cosmetics are a very lucrative industry which is hampered in pursuing half of the population. It was only a matter of time before there was a push to get make-up on men.

As for how it looks - who cares? It will probably become a trend, and trends have nothing to do with how something looks or what it adds to society. Are there bigger things to worry about? Of course - actually there are few things to worry about less.

I don't see what it hurts if a guy wants to be able to cover up his acne like we have for years. My boyfriends brother wears cover up to work. he sells high dollar clothing and has to look good everyday. makeup is the only way to hide a zit in flourecsant lighting. You guys ought to be aware though...My man came with me to the Clinique counter a while back and decided to try out the new mens skin care line...cleanser, toner and moisturizer. masculine packaging like you said. I bought the same sort of kit of the traditional womens sort. His cost about $8 more. we got home and I read the ingredients on all the bottles and EVERYTHING was exactly the same in the mens and womens products (well his had blue dyes in the toner and mine had purple). on average his bottles were about 25%-30% smaller than mine and they cost more. I guess it's payback for them charging us a dollar more for a pink version of the same razor huh?

Many girls break up with their significant others, is because they need time to figure things out. Don't take it personally, if you want her back, you have to show her you can help her. If you love her then you'll let her go, that's it. Not everybody who you date in high school you end up staying with, the chances are extremely unlikely. So if she doesn't want to, then you need to let her go.

Concealer? Maybe, if it's blended well. Other than that, men should not wear makeup. The metro thing only goes so far, and Captain Jack Sparrow is the only man who ever looked good in eyeliner!

I think for most guys no. For some it seems ok. I think the real trick would be for them to learn to apply it correctly and in a manner that wasn't overdone. Makeup is really meant to accentuate what you have not create that which you don't.
