Birth control is only 98-99% affective.

Birth Control pills alone, when taken correctly, are 98% effective against pregnancy. If you read the instructions for her pills, they will tell you this. I would ask her to look at the instructions, if she still has them, so you can educate yourself about her pills. 98% is not effective enough if you really, really don't want to get pregnant, so people often use two forms of BC, to cover that slim 2%. If you and she are both tested for STDs, and you are both negative for everything, then there are ways to back up BC pills without a condom, if she agrees to it! At any drugstore, you can buy spermicidal jelly as a backup for BC pills. The jelly should not be used alone, because it's not that great on its own, but it can be used as extra insurance with BC pills instead of condoms, and it and BC pills combined make it pretty impossible to get pregnant. Suggest this to her instead, and see what she says.

If she has just gone on BC pills, she might be feeling like they're not doing anything--I know when I first went on them I expected to feel different somehow, and I was a little freaked out that I didn't. I didn't quite believe they were working. Anyway, if she wants condoms you'll have to deal with it, but spermicidal jelly would work very well.

OF COURSE!!!!
Nothing, including condoms are 100% accurate... in fact... birth control can be between 70% to 97% accurate depending on what kind you use... some women can only take the lesser because they have allegic reactions to something in the medication, my cousin had to do that.... and the only thing that is a sure bet is abstinence... but since you are not practicing that... if your girl or whomever got pregnant... or is taking birth control...

Yes, you can absolutely get pregnant... like i said... NOTHING except for complete abstinence is 100% effective... millions of children a year are born to people who were using some form of birth control

You are really wrong
Birth control pills are about 98-99% effective forms of birth control when taken properply... i.e. at the same time, not missing a pill.
Certain things decrease that %: antibiotics, some other medications, if you are extremely overweight...etc..
So a back up method is a good idea especially if you really really don't want to get pregnant.

You can still get pregnant on the pill. But it is like 98% effective, so most people dont use another means of protection. I had my tubes cut and the dr. said that I still have a 1 in 400 chance of getting pregnant. He said that unless the woman has a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) that there is always a possibility of pregnancy.

Absolutely! No birth control method is 100% effective. I try several methods at once, such as birth control pills, condoms, and pull out. That's approximately 148% effective. Because there is still the possibility that the condom will break, she'll miss the pill, and you'll forget to pull out. Use several back up methods, before you spill your brains.

only abstinence is the sure birth control method all others are not 100%. however that's not much fun is it now? otherwise oral or manual stimulation which can be great fun together, but just isn't the same. the more types of BC you use the less chance of babies the natural product of sexual activity

She can get pregnant, but it is VERY LOW. If she takes it on time everyday. The average is 1/100 girls get pregnant on BC. Yet, many times it is because she really forgot a pill. But the main ? is do you trust her enough to make sure she takes it everyday on time?

nothing's 100%. If you two aren't ready to be parents then what's the big deal about you wearing a condom?

Nothing is really affective that why its best to use both condom and birthcontrol and if both are used right then u shouldn't have any problems.
