Yeah because if they arent, what are they?
and if they aren't what are colored pencils, they are COLORed pencils, and black and white is a colored pencil so i think it is.

But then again on the other side
they say color blind and they can only see black and white so i guess black and white inst a color for color blindness?

But look at this dictionary definition:

col·or ( P ) Pronunciation Key (klr)
n. That aspect of things that is caused by differing qualities of the light reflected or emitted by them, definable in terms of the observer or of the light, as:
The appearance of objects or light sources described in terms of the individual's perception of them, involving hue, lightness, and saturation for objects and hue, brightness, and saturation for light sources.

Very good question :]

Well I would have said yes, I thought they are primary colors, but thinking about it, it's not primary. I guess the black is absence of color where white is a collection all colors or so says my friend.

Hello,
Black and White are colors...
Black absorbs light rays...
White reflects light rays...
When each one does this...
You get Black and White colors

Thank You

No they're not. My former art teacher said that black and white were not colours. One of them is a tint, i think, and the other is something else - i can't really remember but I know she said that they were not colours.
