on cell phones thier aare ways to find out where the other person is. I am guessing most of you dont know that. BUt i do because he has told me that and i havea freind whos hubby does that as well to her. so now you think why i dont know about gettting a cell phone from him.

Maybe he wants to spoil you. Maybe he wants to know that you are safe and that if you ever need to call someone you can. I woudlnt' worry too much about him "trying to see what you are doing all the time" unless he exhibits other obessive or stalker behaviors. Lucky you!!

How nice! Your boyfriend is probably concerned about your safety when you are away from home and not with him. If he is willing to pay the bill, he may also be interested in making a MARRIAGE proposal to you. Otherwise, you should NOT accept a cell phone as a gift UNLESS your name will appear on the cellular account as the SOLE OWNER of the account. That way he will not have legal rights to see your list of calls or your bill, which are none of his business at this point in the relationship.

There is nothing unusual about a cell phone. I thought everyone had one; even my 9 year old son does! It's good to have one for safety reasons, and it's fun to text little notes to people. It's a great way to let an appointment know you're stuck in traffic, and how would he REALLY know where you are anyhow? It's not a microchip implanted under your skin, hun! It's just a normal, everyday product of the 21st century! Enjoy it!

It all depends on what kind of guy you have. I got a cell when I started college and I always feel good when my guy calls me because he is thinking about me I don't think he uses it to keep tabs on me. How would anyone calling you know where you are at unless you tell them. Cell phones are portable you could say you are anywhere. Don't worry about it just carry the phone

My boyfriend bought me one not too long ago. BIG MISTAKE. Now he's going to expect to get a hold of you 24/7 and if you don't answer he'll probly say "I bought you the phone so I could get a hold of you". My boyfriend also can find out if I'm texting or talking to other people because he gets the bill and he did used to get on my case about calling my friends. My suggestion is don't do it! If you let him buy you a cell phone try and get in under your name and the bill mailed to your house.

That really depends on the relationship you have together. If he is controlling at all then I'd say probably but, men usually don't get cell phones for their girlfriends if they are controlling and want to know there every move unless of course they expect you to have it on you 24/7 to get ahold of you. I really think you already know the answer to this question. Now that I think about it... You probably wouldn't be asking this question if you thought he was innocent in his gift giving. Follow your instincts. Always... follow your instincts. You have them for a reason. Good luck and God bless!

Could be, or maybe he is just wanting you to be safe and giving you a way to call for help when you aren't at home. Think back to the last 13 months, are there any signs that he is possessive? I doesn't just happen over night. He would have been like that before now.

You won't know until you've had the cell phone for a while. If he is constantly calling or text messaging you wanting to know what you are doing and who you are with you will know he is just keeping tabs on you. Then you give him back the phone and tell him good-bye.

maybe, he wants to talk to you(like all the friken time now). It so annoying to have a cell phone. He's gonna call you throughout the day and ask you " so where are you?" what ya doing. Its same leash that parents put on their kids with the stupid cell phone.
