After my bookmarks go passed the >>, they go into a row and I can't figure out how to delete the ones I don't need anymore. The bookmarks on top are easy to drag into the trash but these stay put.

The arrow just means there are several of that type. Just run your mouse to the right or left (wherever they are) and just highlight and delete.

If you're talking about the list of bookmarks on your Yahoo home page then click on "edit" then check the ones you want to delete and "delete".

If you're using Safari,
Click the book icon on the far left in the bnookmarks bar OR
Bookmarks > Show all Bookmarks
Click through the categories on the left column and add, delete, and edit all your bookmarks.
