stupid little white lies, silly stuff that shouldnt matter, exccept it does. im not talking about divorce or whatnot, just how to get him to understand the importance of not lying compulsively, andh ow unnattractive it makes him to me.

My husband did the same thing. I hated to stoop this low, but I began to do the same to him. He hated it! He eventually got much better. Not 100%, but much better about it. Sometimes when someone lacks empathy, ex: he isn't able to put himself in your shoes to understand how frustrating it is to be lied to, it helps to show them how it feels.

lying at times can be a cover up for other more dangers and disturbing problems..... I would look deep to see how far this goes..... has it been a long time prob ? does he also lie about other major things ? there is a deases that makes ppl lie when the truth fits better..... and of course some ppl just become accustemed to lying ...... You should read up on this and then go from there........ God bless

I do the same thing. The reason he lies is because you don't let him tell the truth. If he told you the truth you would be angry or you wouldn't like what he did even if was something trivial, maybe you didn't want him to do something and he wanted to do it..drinking, hanging out etc..He tells you a lie because it's easier then telling the truth.

Girl I am with you on that. It makes you feel like do I have Loser on my forehead, how stupid do you think I am.Right?? I know this is lame but let him catch you a few times..worked like a charm for me..Men really have to be in a situation to understand where we are coming from cause I will say to my hubby how would you feel.. and he says I dont know I never been put in that situation..so I put him there..and he hasnt lied in awhile (that I know of) Hope this helps..

Number one, a lie is a lie. Number 2, never try to change anyone, it doesnt work. If he lies often enough, he will suffer the consequences and hopefully regret it. Good luck.
