God does appear to like man to be in a natural, living state, that's why he created us separate. So this world or place should be our ideal world. If that is so, then where do we go next? Ideas please

If this is heaven, I want all my church offering plate donations back.

As a philosophical question, this is a pretty silly one.

If this is heaven, and we're waiting for the next step, then "Heaven" is called "Earth," and the next step is called "going to heaven."

This type of question doesn't need philosophy to muddle it over, it needs a redefinition of terms.

If this is heaven, a rose is called something else, but a rose by any other name still smells as sweet, and earth by any other name still smells like crap.

God gave us intellect. Unfortunately positive use of it was not made mandatory. Consequently what was an ideal world have through the years been slipping to less than ideal.

Next step...

Reverse the process or keep on what we are doing... make the world even sicker.

this could be Heaven or Hell, it is entirely up to you what you make of it. And yes I do think of the Heaven and the Hell as being right here and right now. where to next? no. when the curtain falls and the lights come up the play is over and you should not be expecting any encores. sorry but that's life.

Go read Shaw's Man and Superman. It is one of the greatest books of all time and you can get a new perspective on heaven and hell on Earth.

i wouldn't call this place heaven. i mean heaven is a world with no wars, no family "deaths", just happy happy stuff. this is our first "step" to show God that we are worthy of going to heaven.

There is no heaven, no hell, no afterlife, and no gods. Grow up. Get over it.
