here is the truth, in clintons term in the white house he signed a bill giving 200+ million towards welfare and was regarded as a friend of the minorities, With bush in office he has signed a bill giving something like 312 million dollars towards welfare and such and nobody has said a word.

The new culture said if people were poor, the government should feed them. If criminals are not responsible for their acts, then the answers are not in prisons, but in social programs. People became less interested in pulling themselves up by their bootstraps and more interested in pulling down a monthly government check. A culture of dependency was born. Programs that began as a temporary hand-up became a permanent handout, regarded by many as a right.

I'm really tired of ignorant people thinking that welfare recipients are mostly minorities.
Look at your statistics before you profess.
You will find that most welfare recipients nationwide are NOT minorities!
As for the preference that minorities have for Clinton as opposed to Bush; it's very simple.
Most minority people felt that they could relate to Clinton with his
background.
He projects a very down to earth persona, he made people feel that he cared about them, almost like a guy that you would go to a bar with.
He was from the south, supposedly grew up poor in a single parent household, he had a Black best friend, played the saxophone on Arsenio etc.
He could really win a crowd.--A TRUE politician!
Bush however lacks the charisma that Clinton possessed.
Minority people don't feel that Bush can relate to their issues.
He was born rich, his Father was president AND once headed the CIA.
Plus he is a republican.
Minorities are afraid of republican rule innately!
Clinton may have been just an actor, but he ACTED like he cared.
Bush just can't project that.
Both are greedy politicians out for themselves; but Clinton used a better quality lube.
Remember, it's not always WHAT you do, it's HOW you do it!
And Clinton knew how to do it!

And more minorities have died in Bush's needless and expensive war than died in all the wars during the Clinton administration. And let's not forget all the "good" Bush did for all the Katrina victims, the large majority of whom were minorities. The only minorities Bush favors are the rootin' tootin' gunslingin' cowboys near Crawford. You know, the ones with colorful redneck names like Joe Bob, Jim Bob, Bob Bob, Billy Bob and so on.

If you are going to post a fact instead of a question, at least provide a link that can be referenced, seriously I doubt that he has done anything for the poor. Never has never will as he is a typical coke snorting, alcoholic pond scum.

It is a well known fact that the trumpets sound only for Dems when it comes to increases in entitlement spending and expanded programs for the poor and elderly.
(even if they sell us down the river later because of future budget shortfalls)

Its not a lie if no one said anything.
And besides, threes still a war issue that overshadows anything Bush does in his own country.
