We have been swinging now for 6 years and we can honestly say to answer your question...

we don't know.

There are too many variables involved to determine if swinging is the right thing for a particular couple. Not only do they have to be close, but they have to have a lot of other traits to be successful in swinging. Do they communicate well? Can he tell when she is uncomfortable? Can she tell when he is? Do they have all of the ground rules established? Do they have the ability to stay calm when the unexpected occurs?

There are so many things to think about that it is impossible to tell if it is right for them...

BUT!!!!

We have been doing it for 6 years and we love it. We were close before we started and it just brought us closer together. We can now share things that most other couples can't do or won't do. Our ability to sense how the other one is feeling has become more developed. We've become more confident in our bodies and in our self esteem. AND!!!!! We've both become better lovers in bed with each other.

So, that's our answer. If you need any further advice about this, please feel free to ask us.

It boils down to confidence with yourself and your partner. Women are the boss in the lifestyle. For us it is a real kick and brings us closer. We have seen it go the other way. Just like skydiving it is not for everybody but does not make it wrong. We have been in it for 5 years +. It is just like having a bunch of friends with benefits.
