There are no restictions for you when you have your period.
If you have cramps or back pain, exercize can help a lot. But nothing in your life should change because of your period. Except maybe buying new underwear!!

The exercise won't hurt you any more than it would when you are not on
your period.
However, if you are experiencing significant pain, you may not want to
exercise - and you may just fight your way through it (billions of women do).
Be careful, of course that the pain you are experiencing is just that associated
with menstruation and not something more dangerous. If you experience
a dramatic increase in pain, more than you are expecting ...
(wait for it)
See your doctor.
(gee, wasn't that worth it?)
