When I was in my late teens and early twenties, I ALWAYS waited for others to approach me. When I look back on it it seems silly. As I got closer to my mid twenties, I started doing some approaching.

I'm a little old fashioned and wait for a guy or girl to come up to me, but I do make sure the eye contact is there. Every once in a while I'll get brave and go up to somebody. If I do that then they better be worth it or I move on quickly.

Whatever feels comfortable. I have approached guys that I wanted to meet, and guys who wanted to meet me approached me. Just appear approachable to everyone. If you don't like blondes, for instance, still try to act approachable to blonds. That sexy brunette across the room is watching how you react to others, as he tries to work up the courage to approach you!

You should make the first move. It's simple...if you always wait, you won't get the results you want. Imagine everyone always waiting for others to make the first move - nothing happens.

depends how much I like the other person.
