Yes it is possible as herpes is very contagious. Majority of this infection is actually spread by people without active outbreaks, condoms don't provide 100% protection b/c you can get infected by simply rubbing against each other. Your husband needs to be on a daily medication to reduce the risk of spreading herpes to you. You need to get checked yourself for sure. It's possible that he contracted it before he met you and just now is having an outbreak, I don't know how long you've been married but I'd investigate this matter further without jumping to quick conclusions.

Genital herpes is usually caused by HSV2. This form of the virus occurs mainly in sexually active teens and adults and is transmitted through intimate contact.
Both types of herpes virus are contagious and can be passed from person to person through contact with the herpes sores or blisters.
Herpes simplex virus type 2 can be passed in the urine or genital discharge of an infected person,,,

YES don't you watch television the commercials are all over the place. You can even get it when he isn't having a break-out. Plus he must be cheating. GET RID OF HIM FAST. There is no cure for herpes.

Here are the ways you can get it:
-Sex
-Cleaning up a wound of his and getting blood on your finger and it soaking into your skin or getting into your body
-Drinking out of the same drink he has
You have got to be extra careful around your husband now that he is diagnosed with herpies. You might want to get tested and if you have children they need to get tested. This is a serious disease that WiLL kill.
Be careful!

YES... herpes is contagious, and most contagious when he is experiencing a 'breakout'.
I hope that he has not already passed this on to you...
Good luck.
