Would you prefer your body to be covered gently, and to be exposed only to your lawful husband? or,
Your body to be revealed to all men seeing what they want to see and maybe touching "by accidant" what they desire to touch?
(Please excuse my langauge).

Some comments to read before answering:
- Do you accept God telling you how to use the body that he created for you ?
- Do you accept your same answer to be applied to your daughter?
-For those who "yes I will show my body to whom I want".. Do you ask yourself why a rape event occurse every 8 minutes in USA?

Please be reasonable, and dont just throw answers because my nickname is A Muslim. be true.

(( Response to your question )) :

- Covered clothes protects from the sun, that is why all Beduins wear long sleaves and cover their faces.

- You did not answer my question, I said would you prefer or not, and you were unable to say y/n.

- The double quotations "" are used for sarcasm ... or metephore. I hope your mind is more open.

- It is true that self-control is part of the raping thing, but would you throw money in the streat and then punish those who steal it?

- Who told you that only men are rewarded in heaven !!!! Go learn about Islam then come. All these women that you hear about that are in Heaven, are nothing but servents to the wife. Yes, the wife stays a lawful wife in Heaven being the queen of all those servents and being the most loved and beloved by her husband, growing prretier everyday till infinity !

#1 if you're saying that muslim woman cover "gently" in black and hot (desert heat!!) clothes that show only their eyes, then no, that's not for me. but, i do agree that there is a limit on what to expose to the world.

#2 my husband is the ONLY one, other than my dr. to see my body, but even if i were to LET myself be exposed or touched by any other man, it would still be my desision and up to my God to judge me...NOT ANOTHER MAN!

#3 men are not known to touch ANYTHING BY ACCIDENT. let's get that part straight. i don't care what religion you are, you are first a man and will even think of touching a woman dressed in a sleeping bag. you know that's true!!

#4 The last point is very important and you should check out the written studies and statistics regarding rape. RAPE IS NOT AN ACT OF SEX, YOU STUPID JUDGEMENTAL (AND I MEAN MENTAL) MUSLIM. IT IS AN ACT OF VIOLENCE AND CONTROL. got that??! and as a religion that condones anything a man does over a woman, including the beatings, i know you know the difference.

here's a question for you, though.....why is it o.k. for your culture to tell the men to stay pure and they will inherit the earth, yet they are told when they die they will have all these women? or that these men have a million kids with they're "tramp" wives?? just wondering!

I like to wear what I feel comfortable in, depending on where I am going. And the same would apply to men.
If men can't control themselves to keep their hands off me I will slap them and file a sexual harassment suit. It's not my fault if they have no self control. I shouldn't have to hide my body from anybody.
My husband loves me and wants me to be comfortable.
Your comment mentions women but it should apply both ways. If women have to be covered in public so should men. My body belongs to me and I give it willingly to my husband. His body belongs to him and he gives it willingly to me. And no one else.
That is what mutual respect and love means to us. But we do not hide our bodies from others.
Edit:
I do not follow any organized religion.
I want my future daughters to have the same rights I have, to make her own choices.
There is a high rape occurrence in the U.S. but countries that are the most open about their sexuality have very low rape numbers. Rape is never the victims fault! No matter how they dress no one has the right to rape them. And rape is more about the control, feeling of power than the sex itself or what the victim is wearing.

I will dress how I see is appropriate. If it is over 100 degrees outside, and I want to wear shorts and a sleeveless shirt to keep cool, then I will. If men can't control themselves when I wear that, then they will be sued.

As for why rapes happen, they DON'T happen due to how a woman dresses. Rape is about power and control, NOT how a woman dresses. It is NOT the womans fault becuase a man can't control himself. It is HIS fault for not controlling himself.

I will choose what method to cover my body and what parts are exposed and what is not.

And if you are obeying laws to get closer to God then you are the saviour? God has imputed free will and grace unto the world. And wether you are Muslim or Christian and Hindu, I tell you we are all the same spirit. The spirit of God living in every one of us.

Actually, I don't want to draw unwanted attention.

In the U.S., that means dressing in a way that is consistent with the way other women dress.

As far as what men think, who gives a crap; I only undress for my husband and my doctor. And, I've decked (i.e., struck to the ground) men for "accidentally" touching.

HEY, MB: You said it, buster! Big kiss from Victory!

I dont have a daughter, I dont have kids for that matter, I dress how I please, because there is a risk in everything so why worry about it, just be the way you want to be and find your love for life. I wouldnt allow the touching, unless im in the mood and they arent terrible to look at.

I myself like having the right to wear what i want. If its 100 degrees outside and i want to wear short shorts and a t-shirt, i could care less who looks at me. I'm happily married woman and if I'm comfortable that's all that matters.
