Having grown up and still living in a haunted house and been around spirits all my life I must say Yes i do strongly believe in the afterlife and ghost or spirits. I do not believe they are ALL here to help but some are and in most haunting they don't even know they are dead. go figure.

I believe in the 'afterlife' as far as 'ghosts', 'apparitions',' hauntings' if you will...
In fact I have rediscoverd my adoration for EVP and it has become an obesseive passion of mine. I just purchased an IC recorder to start (hopefully) gathering my own.
Not that I think any of us have the ability to 'talk' to the dead, they choose rather they want to communicate with us or not; we just happen to be there at the right time and place so to speak.
As far as 'religious' views..it all ties into God regardless. God is never seperate from us in anyway, whatever "afterlife" there may be, it was created by Him and everything in existance involves and surrounds Him. It is all part of His creation no matter what anyway.
I don't think however dead people ,as in raised corpses or zombies, walk around. I know there are those, especially who practice hoodoo and voodoo , who claim there are ways and abilities to raise the dead and make zombies..but I personally don't buy that. Whatever though, don't care either way. Zombies never were my field of interest.
I also don't think every so-called haunting is about unfinished business. There are several types of hauntings (not getting into it here). It isn't just about a spirit sticking around to finish something. I don't think I, nor anyone else, can answer exactly why or the reason for spirits sticking around. I do think though that the movies, books, TV and our own need for psychodrama tends to create a very cut and dry, substandard view on paranormal activity. Meaning ,we tend to think it is either A.) This way or B.) That way....
Nothing is that black and white, ever.
I say just flow with it don't try to understand it but embrace it if that is your grove, we will all be there someday.

I am a ghost hunter and so the answer would be yes. I have seen and heard a ghosts. However most ghost sightings are what are called residual haunts. That is where the energies of an event or person were so strong in life that it permeates the surrounding area and is viewed over and over again. An example is a woman that is seen walking down a stair case every night ect. There are many kinds of hauntings. An intelligent haunting is very rare, that is where the spirit tries to make contact.

I think that some spirits remain in a slightly different plain that overlaps our own. Not everyone is sensitive to this. I'm not sure how to explain it, but I can just feel it. Like my old house vs. my parents' new house. When we first moved into the new house, I was blown away by how different it felt, how empty. In addition to spirits not moving on, I also think we can leave behind a bit of an afterimage, so to speak. Kind of a living memory in a place we have been, especially in times of high emotion. I think there was a lot of that in the old house. It had been around a while and seen a lot of things.
I don't know quite how I feel about poltergeists (other than it's an awesome movie) because I haven't had any experience with that. I don't believe that any of these entities has any power in our world unless we let them.
Not sure if that gave any answers, but that's what I think.

Yes I believe in spirits and ghosts (there is a difference between the two....Spirits have already made their way to the afterlife and are just coming around to check on things and seem to look like they are floating because they are on another plane. Ghosts, on the other hand, haven't yet been to the afterlife because the refuse to acknowledge that they are dead, or they just choose not to go)......I have had many experiences with spirits and ghosts in my lifetime, and have photos of some of them........It's pretty interesting and believable if you get into it........I don't believe in the kind of ghosts that movies portray, to me they are a very hyped up version of what a ghost or spirit actually is like.....Take care, hun..........

i imagine of ghosts ought to exist (some very convincing television documentaries) although if I have self perception that psychological ailment exists in a range of of varieties and in better options than the way it is medically and popularly defined. i'm truly powerful optimal human beings of such ailments will always pass undiagnosed and particularly a range of of those circumstances marked all the way down to 'supernatural phenomena.' there is not any longer any way i will proceed this opinion without going into an very nearly existentialist rant. undergo in thoughts also that folk easily have diverse options of dealing with grief with ought to evoke thoughts like hallucinations and needs. If ghosts do exist (ignoring the psychological possibility) then i'm actual a non secular man or woman and am no longer able to describe it. (on that word, the afterlife i imagine in is often talked about as 'christianity' and is a non-cloth state for the soul that couldn't be determined by making use of guy-made mathematical common sense) contained in the spirit of Halloween i'm no longer frightened of ghosts everywhere on the fringe of as a lot as i'm about my niece jumping out at me with a toy spider. in my opinion I actual have less than no circumstances seen a ghost, can no longer probable imagine of one and hence even as it particularly comes all the way down to it, they do no longer exist for me.

I believe. Ghosts are spirits with unfinished business, once they accomplish it, they will go to the Afterlife.

I believe in ghosts. I always have. I don't go around spouting off about them or anything. I'm not a ghostbuster nor do I force my views on others. I do acknowledge when I feel someone around me. My experiences have all been peaceful, no poltergeists or anything.

Postulate (think about) this: animals can see things eg. shades of light, energy, smells, etc. that we cannot.
Have you seen h2o, or natural gas, or a vacuum? Yet we KNOW they are there.
It stands to reason that there is SO MUCH that we do not know about, swirling all around us.
We use 10% of our brains. This 10% controls what we experience with our senses, what are we missing with the other 90%?
