good answers so far, I'll agree with what's been said. Elements are not something that can be made, nor can they be lost, just stored and then released. Organic materials are places these elements are stored, because they are needed to make up things needed for life. So when things are needed for life, they are broken down by chemically mixing, and they are released, sort of like helping a buddy escape from prison. Once they are freed, they can then be made into things to be stored to be used again for making life work!
